Free bulb for Helmingham – September 2019

We will be giving away a packet of five bulbs to the first 800 visitors to the Autumn Plant fair at Helmingham Hall on Sunday September 15th. Tulipa linifolia (Batalinii Group) ‘Bright Gem’ This is one of a series of reliable hybrid dwarf tulips that increase steadily. The Free Plant for Spring 2019

Symphyotrichum novae-angliae ‘Rougham Purple’, is the free plant (for the first 800 visitors) at Helmingham Plant Fair May 2019. Recent changes in taxonomy mean that  Symphyotrichum is now accepted to be the correct name for this lovely plant that most people know as Aster. It was bred in Suffolk by Rougham Nursery by the current owner’s father some twenty or more  years ago. It currently has one supplier in the RHS Plantfinder, that being West Acre Gardens in Norfolk.
