Paeonia mascula subsp. russoi

It’s the first of my species Paeonia to flower, and is a lovely thing. A  clump forming herbaceous perennial,  about 60cm tall. It has shiny foliage green flushed with a little purple with bright pink-purple flowers and a central boss of pale yellow stamens.

Seed has been successfully germinated, and we have some small plants to sell.
