Autumn Plant Fair 2020

We are pleased to announce that the 2020 Autumn Plant Fair will go ahead! All official guidelines will be followed, the stalls set further apart and queuing avoided. Plant Heritage Autumn Plant Fair and Artisan Market Sunday 20th September:  10 am – 4 pm, Helmingham Hall, IP14 6EF. Entrance: Adults £8.00 – Children: Free (includes admission into the Grade 1 Listed Gardens). Free Plants from the Plant Fairs

Species Tulips

Paeonia mascula subsp. russoi

A note from our Propagation Officer, Anne Tweddle… Paeonia mascula subsp. russoi It’s the first of my species Paeonia to flower, and is a lovely thing. A  clump forming herbaceous perennial,  about 60cm tall. It has shiny foliage green flushed with a little purple with bright pink-purple flowers and a central boss of pale yellow stamens. Seed has been successfully germinated, and we have some small plants to sell.
